Pure Carbon is looking for artists to collaborate with on their next experiment.
The experiment series was born out of our desire to work with new artists and take risks (without the pressures and budget of a full scale production). The creation process is fast, furious and fun.
The first half of the showing will be a workshop reading of a new play by Alex Kentris and the second half will be a movement piece directed by Katy Murphy. At this time we’re casting the movement piece.
4 person movement piece that explores the theme of dreams (moving pictures in our heads while we sleep) and dreams (aspirations, desires, etc). We’ll put on pajamas, do some physical improvisations, play, create a movement vocabulary, and then weave it all together and see what happens.
