SYNOPSIS: Fancy Nancy The Musical is based on the popular book series by Jane O'Connor. The story centers on Nancy and her friends Bree, Rhonda, Wanda and Lionel, who are performing in their very first show, Deep Sea Dances. Nancy is positive – that's "fancy" for 100-percent sure – that she and Bree will be picked to be mermaids. Unfortunately, Nancy is cast as a dull and dreary tree. When her best friend Bree is cast as the mermaid, Nancy learns that being fancy is more than just playing dress-up, and drinking tea with your pinkie up. With the help of her mother she learns some valuable lessons on how to be a supportive friend.
