Job Description: AUDITIONS FOR: ROCKET MAN – THE MUSIC OF ELTON JOHN
Directed By: Heather Braaten
Musical Direction By: Robert Wilkinson
ROCKET MAN will be a sung through concert in our studio theatre, paying tribute to Elton John’s music and mapping through his life and career.

All auditioned should prepare two contrasting rock musical theatre songs, or music in your chosen style (32 bars each), if desired you may certainly prepare music by the artist although this is not required. There will be an accompanist provided. Successful candidates will contacted to set up an appropriate audition time.

Important Dates:

  • Rehearsals: Begin the week of JUNE 1, 2015 and run full time through to performance (to be scheduled with the cast)
  • Tech begins: Monday JUNE 22 – THURSDAY JUNE 25
  • Show runs from Friday JUNE 26 through Sunday AUGUST 2, 2015

    -PERFORMANCES TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY’S AT 7:30PM, SATURDAY’S AT 4PM AND 7:30 PM, AND SUNDAY’S AT 4PM

  • Additional Info: an honorarium will be provided to cast members for rehearsals, and per show.
