Audition: Kid’s Fringe “Tuck&Daisy”
“Tuck&Daisy” is a brand new show, full of singing, movement, character work, and puppetry. Tuck is a silent clown, that longs to find his voice and to sing in the circus, and Daisy, the Rose, is his best friend that has finally found a place where she belongs. Their day starts off as normal as any other, but as things starting going wrong, Tuck and Daisy’s friendship starts rupture. But with the help of their friends and the audience, they discover how important friendship can be.

Audition Dates: Thursday January 28th 2016
Daisy: The feisty rose. Daisy is very sweet and bubbly, but still has some sharp thorns. She has finally found a home where she is accepted exactly as she is.
Tuck: The silent clown. Although Tuck has no voice, he expresses himself through movement, dance, and expression. Dreams of the day that he will get his voice back.
Pam/Pat the Pig: The nutty neighbour. Pam/Pat always has so much going on that it would seem like her/his world is very chaotic, but Pam/Pat glides though life with optimism and generosity.
Hemingway (puppet): The philosophical spider. Hemmingway is an old soul, full of wisdom and, well, brunch.

There will be a cast read through in February.
Rehearsals will begin in May.
Looking for eager performers that are looking to bring these characters to life for the first time. Comfortable with singing and movement. Puppetry experience is not necessary.
This is a paid non-union show.
Please prepare one song any genre. Accompanist will be provided. Sides will be provided. *Include in submission if you can play an instrument
