The inaugural SA Together year-long art residency program offers support to cultural ad-hoc groups, independent artist collectives, and not-for-profit/charitable organizations working in or based in Scarborough.
The program will connect organizations and promote resource sharing. Participants of SA Together will be offered the following support: Scarborough Arts' space (including the Bluffs Gallery and the Randall Starr Board Room); marketing and PR support; professional development workshops and educational resources; and $500 in fees to support the group's individual missions through their planned programs and events during the run of the residency program from November 2016 to September 2017. Groups of all arts and cultural disciplines are welcome to apply (media, visual, design, movement, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary arts, performing, literacy, experimental and ‘out of the box art’, and others). The deadline to apply is October 31, 2016.
