Fundraiser in Support of Fort McMurray Fire Relief

U.N.I.T. Productions, Katherine Rawlinson (KABIN Projects) and MARRAM would like to announce a special one-night fundraiser ARTISTS FOR FORT MAC. On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, Toronto’s crowned queens of clown Morro and Jasp (Heather Annis and Amy Lee) will host some of the city’s best comedy and musical acts, as they put on a special fundraising show for the relief efforts of the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Fires Appeal.

The show will take place at KABIN, a new arts incubator at 11 Carlaw Avenue, Unit 6, Toronto, including indoor and outdoor performances (G2 Net Truck).  Doors open at 7:00pm and performances will start at 7:30pm. All are welcome to drop in throughout the evening, to come and go when they like, and stay for as long (or as short) as they like.

Confirmed performers at this time include stand-up comedienne and Comedy Network star Elvira Kurt, British comedian Chris Gibbs, musical cabaret star and host of weekly SINGular Sensation Jennifer Walls, Second City veterans and All-Star Improvisers Reid Janisse and Ashley Botting, Caroline Brooks of Juno-Award winning Good Lovelies, Canadian Comedy-Award winner DeAnne Smith, as seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and The Comedy Network, with many more performers still to come.

Admission will be by donation to the Canadian Red Cross at the door. All proceeds will go directly to Red Cross Alberta Fires Appeal (for more information about the Appeal and suggested donation types and sizes, visit www.redcross.ca).
