The second performance of each World Stage production is followed by our talkshow event, where the artists connect with the audience outside their work, fielding questions with the moderation of their colleagues in the community.
Admission is free with the purchase of a ticket to STRAIGHT WHITE MEN.
The talkshow performance following STRAIGHT WHITE MEN will be lead by acclaimed New York playwright and director Young Jean Lee. Young Jean Lee’s work is powerfully allusive: each of her plays builds upon reference to an ongoing and difficult debate about identity and representation. Having already brought two wildly successful shows to World Stage, THE SHIPMENT and UNTITLED FEMINIST SHOW, Young Jean Lee tackles the topic of privilege in her latest play. After seeing the performance, catch a rare glimpse into the mind of one of theatre's most brilliant visionaries, as Young Jean Lee answers questions and discusses her own work.
