TIFF, a vibrant not-for-profit arts organization, is hiring for the full-time position of: Senior Manager, Individual Giving & Foundations

Reporting to the Director, Government & Foundation Relations and Director, Philanthropy, the Senior Manager helps build a community of advocates, champions, and supporters for TIFF’s work. The focus of this role is leading individual giving and foundations, including fundraising appeals, grant applications, managing administration, and project proposals – with a secondary role in major gifts fundraising. The Senior Manager also supports collections donations and helps grow a culture of philanthropy within and outside of TIFF.

To fill this role, TIFF is searching for an experienced fundraising professional, preferably with a background working in an arts, museum, or heritage setting.


Lead fundraising efforts for gifts below $25,000, including broadbase fundraising appeals and other donations to TIFF’s Annual Fund and Pocket Fund
Develop partnerships and funding relationships with private foundations, including TIFF’s U.S.-based partner: American Friends of TIFF
Work closely with the Senior Manager, Major Gifts and Director(s) to identify, cultivate, and solicit new major gift donors
Act as lead relationship manager for a large set of donors and supporters, including stewardship, reporting, and hosting
Support the acquisition and related administration of new collections donors gifting materials to TIFF (e.g. film prints, artefacts, etc.)
Proactively identify and develop corporate giving opportunities, in collaboration with colleagues in Sponsorship Department
Develop and execute strategies to integrate TIFF’s social impact into existing TIFF collateral and messaging
Ensure 100% compliance with CRA regulations and the AFP’s Donor Bill of Rights and Code of Ethical Principles and Standards
Manage the performance and development of 1 full-time staff, Coordinator of Individual Giving
