The Glass Reflections Theatre Collective, based in downtown Toronto, is an inclusive space for artists to meet collaborators and work through scripts, designs, projects, and ideas.

Through the Incubator Project, the collective offers a unique development platform for artists to create new works, reflective of the emergent interests of today’s theatre artists and audiences.

The Incubator Project has its roots in an initiative that invited playwrights to present their works in small public settings and receive feedback. This past year, Glass Reflections fostered Liz Laywine’s “uni” and Robin Taylor Wright’s “Home for Boys.” “Home for Boys” was produced in July 2015, while “uni” was presented as a workshop production to a public audience in August 2015. For the upcoming year, Glass Reflections hopes to continue and expand this Project to focus on supporting creators through their process by providing space, resources, management, dramaturgical support, and to tailor itself to the needs of the playwright or creator.

Glass Reflections is currently seeking 1-2 plays or projects to help develop over the course of an 8 month period (September 2015- May 2016). One for festival submissions and one for a mainstage production.
