Alumnae Theatre is looking for a sound designer/composer for it's upcoming fall mainstage production of Thirteen Hands by Canada’s beloved Pulitzer Prize–winning writer Carol Shields.
While we accept applications from all passionate artists, we want to encourage applications from those identifying as women and/or of colour.
Thirteen Hands is a witty and vibrant play-cum-musical that explores the nuances of life and womanhood. One of Alumnae’s most revered and successful premières, Thirteen Hands returns this season as part of the theatre company’s 100th anniversary retrospective series. It follows the lives of four women along with their daughters and granddaughters, who find connection and support through a weekly game of bridge. It will feature 9 diverse women from ages 20-70.
Alumnae is a community theatre, and as such this position is unpaid and non-union. Interested applicants can email Director Claren Grosz at firstname.lastname@example.org by Jun 23, 2017 at 5pm.
