BOB’S FINAL BOW - A Memorial of Bob Nasmith
Toronto - Friends, family and fans are all welcome to celebrate the life of theatre legend Robert “Bob” Nasmith (1943-2019), at Theatre Passe Muraille, Monday, March 16th, 2020. Featuring performances by the Cameron Family Singers and Raoul Bhaneja.
Iconic Canadian actor Bob Nasmith, performed on our stages for decades most recently in the critically acclaimed production of Krapp’s Last Tape. An emeritus board member at Theatre Passe Muraille, Vietnam War photographer, “Mayor” of Rochdale, a master drywaller, fly-fisherman, a consummate performer, and a good friend to nearly everyone he met.
“Bob Nasmith is a theatre warrior and a legend. He wears the story of his life on his body and in his voice where I recognize Passe Muraille's master of our tenacious spirit of resistance.” – Paul Thompson, Theatre Passe Muraille Artistic Director 1972-1981
Join us for an evening of food and drink, video, photos, speeches, and rollicking remembrance.
