Dian Marie Bridge is an award-winning theatre maker & arts manager with over 20 years experience in Canada's theatre and arts community. Dian is the co-founding Artistic Producer for Cric Crac Collective and Vancouver’s 4Large Heads Collective, and holds a degree in Theatre Arts and Dramatic Literature from Brock University and attended the University of Minnesota under the Theatre and Dance program. Her directing work focuses on new play development and dramaturgy, while her intent as a producer is to bridge the creative communities in Canada, through peer-to-peer mentorship, cross-pollination of ideas and practices, though continued direct support of artists. Dian has been an artist mentor through The Paprika Festival, The AMY Project, Speak Sudan, B Current’s RaizinArtz Program, and Only One You workshops.

We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome her in this new role!

“In my practice as a theatre artist and arts manager, I have always admired artists in their immense talent, intelligence and empathy. At this point in history, artists are demanding that we take a concerted look at who we are, the world we are in, and how we want to shape the world to come. Across all of the organizations I’ve had the opportunity to work with, my focus has been to offer actionable support of artists and their work, from professional development programs to collaborative creations. Luminato has given me the chance to continue this work with the Summer Residency program, and now this extends to programming, and an opportunity to have a national impact on the arts community. I am so thrilled, humbled and full of anticipation for what this new chapter as Associate Artistic Director holds.”
