The Stephenville Theatre Festival (STF) is currently casting for its 2017 summer season.
Auditions will be held to engage the 2017 repertory company. Each performer in the company will be cast in two or three roles during the season.
Stephenville Theatre Festival is the longest-running professional theatre festival in Newfoundland and Labrador, operating since 1979. The company performs in rep in two spaces in the Stephenville Arts & Culture Centre, the 450 seat Main Stage and the 140 seat Stage 2. For more information about the festival, please visit

submissions from artists of all backgrounds.
Eight 1/2 Week Contract: June 14-August 13, 2016.
Location of Contract: Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador
Toronto Audition Dates: Mon March 13, Tuesday March 14,
Toronto Callback date (will include a dance call): Friday March 17
East Coast Auditions (St. John’s, Halifax, Corner Brook, Stephenville): Week of March 20 - 25

We are seeking performers with strong acting, dancing and singing skills.
Please note that STF will be engaging a few student performers under the Canada Jobs Program and therefore students returning to school in the spring of 2018 are encouraged to apply.
Please prepare two (2) 32 bar contrasting musical selections, as well a contemporary monologue. Additionally, if you play an instrument that you can easily bring with you, please do so.
Please submit a brief letter of introduction along with labeled attachments of your headshot and resume. Include STF audition and your name in the subject line.
