We are casting for a development workshop for The Shell, a devised adaptation of Nalo Hopkinson’s speculative fiction short story Message in a Bottle.
The story follows Greg, an installation artist, and Kamla, his friends’ precocious adopted daughter, and a discovery that Kamla makes about one of Greg’s pieces – a discovery that has far-reaching implications. The show offers a unique time travel tale to ask questions about the nature of art; what we consider to be great; what endures; who endures.
