Theatre by the Bay (TBTB) is holding auditions for its upcoming production of 'Green Skies.' This is a non-Equity call.
Please note that TBTB’s 2020 programming will be officially announced in the next few weeks.
- Sunflower (F 18) - this character is a singer so strong vocal training is important.
- Cal (M 18)
- Kate (F 18)
- Mike (M 20’s)
- Mrs. Moreau (F 40 – 50)
- May (F 40-60)
- Chuck (M 40-60)
- Sandmann (M30’s)
There will be double casting for some additional minor roles. Physical theatre training is also an asset.
To be considered for an audition, please submit ONE (1) PDF file that includes both an updated headshot (or recent high-quality photo) and resumé, and save the file using your name as the file name (i.e.: Smith.Jane.pdf)

If you specify a time-preference, TBTB will do its best to accommodate, but flexibility is appreciated.
Deadline for submissions:
- February 16th, 2020 at 5pm.
Performance dates will be June 3-14th at the Five Points Theatre in downtown Barrie.
Pay for this production is honorarium-based.
Auditions will take place in Toronto on Sunday, February 23rd from 11 AM – 4 PM and Monday, February 24th from 6 – 9:30 PM.
Auditions will also be in Barrie Friday, February 21st from 6 – 9 PM and Saturday, February 22nd from 11 AM – 4 PM.
Toronto artists who have family/connections in Barrie are strongly encouraged to apply. Rehearsals will be three times a week in Barrie. Toronto artists will be eligible for a stipend toward travel costs. All Toronto artist hired without connections in Simcoe County will be provided with billeting.

All successful applicants will be sent audition requirements with confirmation of their audition appointment.
