Artists of all ethnic, cultural, sexual and gender identities are strongly encouraged to submit. Non-traditional casting will be explored, particularly for the role of Elle Woods.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Actors are asked to prepare two contrasting songs (approx. 1 min. each). One song should be from the contemporary Musical Theatre genre; the other should be pop/rock – the combined effort to show range. Actors are expected to bring sheet music for their song in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. Actors are also asked to prepare a pre-existing contemporary monologue no longer than 1 min. long. All pieces may not be seen in the first round of auditions.

Based on the hit movie, Legally Blonde: The Musical tells the sassy tale of Elle Woods as she tackles sexism, snobbery and self-discovery in pursuit of her dreams of law school and the perfect outfit.
