Synopsis A mother from rural China tries to keep her son calm over the phone as he is illegally smuggled to Canada in a suitcase.
"The Suitcase" is an award winning short script to begin production in spring. Film will have guaranteed festival premiere and IMDB credit. The Suitcase has already won a production award with Reel Asian Film Festival and a grant from the Ontario Arts Council.

1. Pimp – Male / Chinese / 40 - 60 years old
Actor must be fluent in Mandarin and can read simplified Chinese.
2. Smuggler – Male / Chinese / 40 – 60 years old
