Nerves is a new play by Brianna Love, and will be performed as part of the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival July 3-14

A young woman, Alex, must learn to juggle her own life and new found responsibilities after becoming the primary caregiver for her mother, Cheryl, who struggles for her own independence.

Cheryl: late 50s-60s. Female identifying. A strong, and independent woman, Cheryl has multiple scorosis, which is having an increasing effect on her physical and mental abilities, and causes her to move in with her daughter in the city and leave behind their family farm.

Mike: late 20s-early 30s. Male identifying. Alex’s boyfriend/coworker. A sweet, naïve young man. He wants to be the strong, supportive partner, but just doesn’t understand Alex’s new responsibilities.
