ABOUT THE SHOW
NeverWonder is a new Canadian musical combining two beloved world lores and tells the story of two young women who bond over the adventures and mishaps of their fantastical childhoods, and follows their journey of support and recovery.

Sunday, January 19th 1pm - 4pm
Location will be given upon offer of audition.

VIDEO SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Sunday, January 19th, 11:59pm

CALLBACK DATE
Thursday, January 23rd, 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Location will be given upon offer of callback.

PRODUCTION DATES
The 2020 Toronto Fringe Festival runs July 1st - 12th. There will be a readthrough in February. Regular rehearsals will begin in March and a workshop/tech in late June 2020.

ROLES:
Boy/Nurse - (18-22) The adventurous and forever young - the Boy The Prince of Neverland. Selfish and self-absorbed, inconsiderate, but not bad to the core. Possessive of Darling, but does truly care for her/Nurse at the Asylum in London. Always follows the Doctor’s orders.

*We are looking to cast one nonbinary, genderqueer, or gender non-conforming artist to portray both of these roles.
*Being able to do a British accent is an asset.

For singing roles, all artists submitting must be strong singers, actors, and movers. All voice types and vocal ranges are welcome; we can transpose keys to fit ranges. Preference is for women, LGBTQAI2+, BIPOC, Mad/mentally ill, and disabled artists, but all are welcome to submit.

Seeking Non-Union and/or Union Artists (with permission from the CAEA under The Festival Policy)

Payment method is a profit-share model.

Please submit a headshot, resume, and a brief letter of interest explaining who you are and why you’re excited for NeverWonder (can be in the body of the email) to PTPNeverWonder@gmail.com

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
For the roles of Little and Boy/Nurse: please prepare a verse and a chorus from a contemporary musical theatre piece (we will provide a piano accompanist, or it can be sung a capella), and a contrasting 1-minute monologue.

VIDEO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
If you are unable to attend either the January 16th or 19th audition dates, please let us know. We will be accepting video submissions on a case by case basis.
