THE PLAY ABOUT THE BABY by Edward Albee (May 2017)

The Play About The Baby is one of Albee's most daring Black Comedies. By turns funny, mysterious and disturbing, this play concerns a young couple who have just had a baby, and the strange turn of events that transpire when they are visited by an older man and woman.

"An invaluable self-portrait of sorts from one of the few genuinely great living American dramatists…BABY rockets into that special corner of theatre heaven where words shoot off like fireworks into dazzling patterns and hues.” — NY Times.

Casting for:
M: The Man (45-60) - A charismatic story teller. Joyful, wise, and a little odd, he has a spring in his step for his age.
F: The Woman (45-60) - She is full of vim and vigour, smart, plucky, wise, and humorous.
F: The Girl (25) - Youthful, sensual, smart, inquisitive, but tentative and slightly gullible. She has a secret.

RECALL by Eliza Clark at The Toronto Fringe (July 2017)

Clark’s Recall takes us to a grim, sci-fi world in which crimes might be prevented before they occur. Lucy makes people uncomfortable. There's something about her eyes. There's something about the way her mother's boyfriends keep disappearing. And there's something about the government agents on her trail. Radically imaginative and achingly plain, Recall explores our need to feel connected, understood and loved. No matter the damage, no matter the cost.

Casting for:
F: Lucy (16-25) - Justine's teenage daughter. Young, intelligent, impulsive. [Older actors will be seen but MUST pass as a teenager]
F: Justine (35-50) - Lucy’s mother. She’s crass, painfully honest, and highly protective.
M: David (30-50) - Owns a safe house. Supportive and naive. Works for the program.
M: Quinn (16-25) - A boy, Lucy's peer at school. Awkward. Rebellious. On the list for dangerous tendencies. In love with Lucy. [Older actors will be seen but MUST pass as a teenager]

Both productions can include Union and Non-Union actors and will operate under a CAEA Artists Collective Policy in a formal profit share.
