Synopsis: a one-act play. Set in Iraq, it follows Orli (a conflict photographer) and Sanaa (a Yazidi activist) after they’ve been captured by ISIS. The story is about the indomitable power of sisterhood and what women do to help one another during profound injustice.
Sanaa, 18. Yazidi (ethnically Kurdish).
Wildly intelligent and full of energy, Sanaa has the resignation of someone beyond her years, although she is only eighteen.

Requirements: Ability to partake in a Canadian Toronto-mounted show. Canadian Citizen, of correlating character description. Show opening in August 2016.
