Gangway! Theatre Co. is holding auditions for KT Bryski’s new Canadian work Six Stories, Told at Night, which will debut at the Toronto Fringe Festival from July 4-15, 2018 (10 performances)

The Show (operating under the Festival Policy, with a profit-share) is based on the award-winning podcast of the same name.

Directed by Blair Haynes

“It takes the right story, that’s all…a story they’ve never heard before.”

When Samantha’s best friend Joëlle starts obsessing about Faerie, Sam doesn’t pay much attention. After all, Joëlle has always been feverishly creative, if troubled. But when Joëlle stumbles into the Otherworld, Sam must brave the darkness and the woods – rewriting her own story to get her friend back. Five Canadian folktales interweave with Sam’s quest to save Joëlle.

JOËLLE – Female. mid-20’s – mid 30’s. Preferably French-Canadian; otherwise, comfortable with French-Canadian accent. Will play other roles in the show.

COYOTE/PETER/VARIOUS CHARACTERS: Male. mid-20’s – mid 30’s.

Please prepare 1 modern audition piece approx 3 min. Audition times and callbacks will be assigned by email and will be held early-mid February, by appointment only.
