
Seven Siblings Theatre is now casting for the final development and December production of From the Water, a new play by Artistic Director Will King.
The play will be directed by Nicole Wilson, Co-founder of Good Old Neon, and director of One Left Hour, and Blue Remembered Hills.
THE ROLES:
ALEX: (Female. 40s) A strong sharp-tongued mother determined to stay in her family home during a devastating supernatural crisis.
DOCTOR(S): (Male. 30-50) A pragmatic series of doctors that have cloned themselves to accelerate their urgent studies.
AVA: (Female. 20s) A young, scrappy, and seductive girl working to protect modern civilization.
The role of PETER/PETER2 has already been cast.
We can accept union or non-union actors under a CAEA Artists Collective Policy. The show will operate under a formal profit share. We welcome applications from actors of all backgrounds, beliefs, cultures, and identities.
THE STORY:
From The Water is a domestic narrative that unravels in a supernatural crisis. It’s a piece that studies what it means to be an individual amongst a sea of uniformity, and the paths we take fight against an unstoppable force.
PROJECT TIMELINE:
Rehearsals will be part-time from Oct to Dec, with a short break at the end of October, and an increased time commitment before the December production.
