"An intimate photo sent to James by his girlfriend, Kiera, sets off a disastrous chain of events that may turn him into a registered sex offender at the age of 14. In the meantime, with all other means of communication cut off, James uses an old camcorder to secretly record a video for Kiera that explains the whole story. From the award winning company that created Jamie’s Gone and Places comes an immersive production of a sad, disturbing, and complicated portrait of young love."
Broken Soil Theatre is casting the following roles:
James – A 14 year old high school student. (The actor is not required to actually be 14 years old, or even necessarily close to that age, as long as they can physically and vocally embody that age)
Actors must book an audition time slot in advance by emailing a headshot and/or resume to firstname.lastname@example.org and if there are specific times you’d prefer, we will do our best to accommodate you. Actors will be asked to prepare a short section of the text in advance, which will be emailed upon booking your audition. ‘For Kiera’ is a 20 minute solo play, so a strong facility with text and physical choices is an asset.
Email your headshot and/or resume to email@example.com today to book your time slot. Space is limited!
