Port Moresby Productions is now accepting submissions for the November 2016 production of

An old gangster and his protege crash their car north of Toronto as Hurricane Hazel batters the region on Oct. 15, 1954. They find shelter from the storm in a trailer, but they’re forced to confront their violent past when a stranger asks for help.
Auditions will be held on the afternoons of August 7, 14, 21, at Fringe Lab (720 Bathurst Street).
Rehearsals begin September.
The run of the show is November 14-20.
The production will be applying for the Artists’ Collective Policy through the Canadian Actors Equity Association. Equity Members are invited to apply.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
FRANK -- Male, early to mid 50s. Low-level gangster for most of his life, looking to quit but stays in good shape.
JOE -- Male, early 20s. Petty criminal looking for a big score. Slight build.
LAUREN -- Female, late 50s to early 60s. Small town retiree, fallen on hard times but keeps up appearances.
TOIVO -- Male, early 20s to early 30s. Minor supporting role with 2 appearances in the show. Nickel miner trying to hitch-hike his way north.
- We will send you sides of your preferred role(s), they do not have to be memorized.
- You may be asked to do cold readings for roles other than what you specified, sides will be provided.
