“Waking the Play,” is currently holding video auditions for a part in its upcoming production at the Toronto Fringe 2016.
Male, Caucasian. Can Play 50's. Must be able to do an Oxford English Accent.
Nigel 2015 : Orchestra conductor and composer for CBC Radio 1. British born Torontonian, speaks with Oxford accent. Highly intelligent and verbose. Stricken by anterograde amnesia in his prime.
* This role is split between two actors, one who plays the character in 1995, just as his illness strikes, and one (this role) who will portray the character twenty years after he develops amnesia.
Performances are 29 June - 10 July, with weekly rehearsals in April & May and twice weekly in June.
