SYNOPSIS:
On Christmas Eve, famed theatre star William Gillette, known widely for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, invites his closes friends to his mansion for a holiday dinner. However the evening takes a dark twist when a body is found and one of the group is responsible! William transforms into his alter-ego, Sherlock Holmes, and begins to solve the case.

Madge Geisel (Felix's Wife) - female, 40-50s
Aggie Wheeler - female, 20-30s
Simon Bright (Aggie's Fiancé) - male, 20-30s
Inspector Goring - female, 40s
Daria Chase - female, 30s
**ages represent character ages. some roles are flexible**

AUDITION DATES:
Monday, August 21, 2017 - 7pm to 9pm
Saturday, August 26, 2017 - 2pm to 5pm
Callbacks: Monday, August 28, 2017 - 7pm to 9pm

AUDITION DETAILS:
Auditions will be in 1 hour sessions and will consist of:
-- Individual auditions of prepared sides
-- Cold readings with other actors

Auditions will take place at Theatre Aurora - 150 Henderson Drive, Aurora, Ontario.

REHEARSAL DATES:
Rehearsals will begin August 30th and will tentatively take place Mondays (6:30 - 9:30pm), Wednesdays (6:30 - 9:30pm), and Saturdays (1-4pm). This may change to meet the cast and crew needs. Additonal rehearsals will be scheduled as the production nears opening night.

Copies of The Game's Afoot are available at the Aurora Public Library.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
All actors appearing on stage must be members of Theatre Aurora. If you are not currently a member and you are offered a role, you must become a member at the time of your first rehearsal. Membership is $10 and is valid until June 30, 2018.
