Broken Soil Theatre is seeking a Hamilton-based or Hamilton-adjacent female identifying or non-binary actor for our upcoming production of ‘The Year and Two of Us Back Here’

A new play by Michael Kras premiering at the 2018 Hamilton Fringe Festival. We are looking to fill the following roles:

RAIN – 28 years old. The assistant manager of a shitty hat store in downtown Hamilton. Likes merlot, Snickers bars, and trying to leave the city forever. Quitting smoking. She has a pet salamander.

Beginning in May, all rehearsals will be in Hamilton on a flexible part-time basis leading up to a 10 performance run at the Hamilton Fringe Festival from July 19th to 29th. Artists will be engaged in line with the standards of the CAEA Artists' Collective Policy and compensated with profit share.

Interested artists are invited to send a headshot and CV to brokensoiltheatre@gmail.com by April 17th at 11:59pm. We thank all artists for their submissions, but only those under consideration will be contacted.

ABOUT THE PLAY
Rain and Isaac work in the shittiest hat store in Hamilton and probably the world. Both at their own yearning standstills, they struggle to overcome themselves while struggling to sell overpriced headwear. A millennial love letter to loneliness, longing, and losing.
