We love podcasts at Camp Tech, and are thrilled to be participating in the first Hot Docs Podcast Festival, taking place in Toronto November 18-20.

The festival features a fantastic lineup of live podcast recordings, listening parties, a special podcast mashup, and exciting panel discussions.

Camp Tech is presenting a panel, Making Supporting and Marketing Your Show, featuring our founder Avery Swartz as moderator with a quartet of powerhouse podcasters. They'll be sharing their thoughts and insight on the practical skills you need to produce, record and market the world’s next great podcast. Producers JP Davidson (The Globe and Mail’s Risk Takers and Camp Tech's podcasting instructor), Dan Misener (Grownups Read Things They Wrote as Kids, Pacific Content), Katie Jensen (CANADALAND, The Imposter) and Hannah Sung (The Globe and Mail’s Colour Code) will share technical tips and creative strategies. When the conversation is over, you're invited to join the panellists for an informal networking opportunity and pitch them your great ideas.

Single tickets go on sale tomorrow (October 4), and if you'd like to attend our panel, you can get $12 tickets with promo code CAMPTECHPODFEST16.

And then take our Podcasting Workshop
Want to continue the podcasting awesomeness in Toronto that weekend? JP Davidson will be teaching his hit workshop Intro to Podcasting at Camp Tech on Sunday November 20. Tickets for the workshop are on sale now, and they're bound to go fast.
