Paprika’s 2017/18 Festival Administrators invite you to the Paprika Playback - a fundraiser featuring participants and supporters, past and present!
Join us at Glad Day Bookshop on April 7th for an evening of multi-disciplinary performances (monologues, spoken-word, music, and more) featuring Paprika alumni and supporters. Paprika Playback is an opportunity to reconnect with and give back to the Paprika community while enjoying a sample of the exciting work that Paprika alumni and friends have created during their time at Paprika and beyond!
Performers TBA - stay tuned! If you're a Paprika alumni or supporter interested in performing at the Paprika Playback, please contact the Lead Festival Administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org. A limited number of spots are available.
Paprika Playback is all-ages and accessible - come enjoy the performances, grab a drink and snacks from Glad Day’s fantastic menu, and check out the amazing raffle prizes available!
Tickets are $10, available for purchase online (limited number of tickets available at the door - cash only!).
Paprika’s Festival Administrators program is offered to artists ages 19-25 to provide an opportunity for them to strengthen their arts administration and producing skills and learn more about the behind-the-scenes administrative side and hidden hustle that makes theatre happen.
Paprika Festival is a registered not-for-profit charitable organization. We run year round professional training and mentorship programs that culminate in a performing arts festival of new work by young artists. This year, the festival will take place May 14th - 20th, 2018 at the Aki Studio in Regent Park, in partnership with Native Earth Performing Arts.
