The COC is looking for a creative, energetic, organized and adaptable person with a passion for opera to develop its adult programs with an emphasis on engaging current and new adult audiences and program participants.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Education and Outreach, you will be primarily responsible for programming, co-ordination and administration of all the COC's adult education and outreach programs including, but not limited to, Opera Insights, Opera Connect, Opera Talks, Pre-performance Opera Chats, on-going assessment and evaluation of all programs to ensure points of engagement for audience members/participants at all levels of experience and interest; programming and supporting other public engagement initiatives; supporting Communications staff in researching and developing marketing materials including website content to promote programs and build awareness, when necessary, fostering new and maintaining existing community and artistic partnerships; facilitating programs when necessary; recruiting, training, scheduling and supervising artist-educators, guest speakers and volunteers; data gathering, analysis and reporting; and managing programming revenue/expenditures.
