Canadian Stage is hiring a Compensation Administrator. This is a permanent, full-time position in the Accounting and Finance department.
Reporting to the Controller, the Compensation Administrator will be responsible for the preparation and processing of two weekly payroll groups using the payroll service provider PAYWORKS, prepare (in adobe writer) and advise on CTA (Canadian Theatre Agreement) contracts for signature, benefit administration, including RSP. The Compensation Administrator will make various remittances for unions, associations, garnishments, EHT, WSIB, NRT, and group benefit plans, prepare and file annual T4s /T4As/T4A-NRs. They will perform account analysis and reconciliation, salary budget preparation and monthly forecasting, cash flow analysis, and various accounting and administrative tasks related to the timely preparation of month end financial statements, reconciliations and reports. The Compensation Administrator will prepare annual payroll lead sheets for external auditors, and provide support for audit. This position will also have a role in Human Resource administration including assistance on ESA and CRA regulation interpretation.
