We are looking for energetic, responsible, creative and skilled music theatre enthusiasts to join our team in a variety of camp counselor roles this summer. At Bravo Academy’s summer camps, students ages 7-12 spend two weeks to put on a full production of a Junior version of a musical on the final day of camp with full set, lights, and costumes. This summer, students will be performing in Annie, Jr. (2 week camps) and Broadway Beat (1 week camp). This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team and play a crucial role in running one of our most popular programs in our brand new facility, including our very own Studio Theatre!

Roles & Duties
responsible for creating a strong ensemble, casting the shows, staging and choreographing the shows and liaising with the production team
leads theatrical activities
leads classroom management skill along with assistants
sets a positive and inclusive environment
Music Director
responsible for teaching all of the music to the students, as well as accompanying during all rehearsals and the final show
assist in classroom management
Craft Coordinator/Camp Instructor
assists with staging, choreography, theatrical activities and general camp instruction
manages crafts including the creation of props and set pieces
assists in backstage help during final performance
assists with classroom management
participates in lunch supervision
assists in tidying up crafts and studios

The successful applicant should demonstrate the following:
Positive energy and positive role-model, Strong leadership skills, Creative and Imaginative, Punctual and Organized, Excellent Classroom Management skills, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to problem-solve effectively, Patience and ability to work with children of all levels, Experience working with children, preferably leading a group of 15+ children, 3+ years of training in musical theatre, preferably completing or possessing a theatre, music, or music theatre undergraduate degree, current police check and first-aid training.
