The Toronto Fringe, through the generous support of TD Bank Financial Group, is seeking an exceptional individual with less than 5 years of related work experience to fill the position of TD Bank Outreach Coordinator.

This position, while requiring many leadership qualities, is ideal for emerging arts administrators who are still developing their careers and are interested in further training.

This full time position is an 18 week contract from March 14th to July 15th and is responsible for the following:

The execution of our professional development program, T.E.N.T (Theatre Entrepreneurs Network and Training) for 30 emerging theatre entrepreneurs (ages 19-24)
Promotion of the festival to various community and cultural groups
Assisting with strategizing and placement for festival marketing and communications
Liaising with selected organizations in distributing donated Fringe tickets to priority youth organizations
Coordinating group sales for FringeKids, as well as workshop programming
Updating website and promoting via social media as needed
Planning and executing logistics for the 24 Hour Playwriting Contest,
Other duties as needed.

Candidates should:

have 1-5 years working experience in outreach, communications, teaching, facilitating, or running camps, classes or workshops
have overall knowledge of the Fringe Festival movement and philosophy of the Fringe, and its place in the performing arts community
have superior administrative, problem-solving and strong computer skills
have excellent verbal and written communication skills
be able to lead youth workshops in production, marketing and/or networking
have experience supervising volunteers or large groups of young people (recommended)
have experience managing and tracking a large database of information (recommended)
