Carousel Players invites applications for the full-time position of Outreach & Marketing Coordinator that begins as soon as the position is filled.

The Outreach & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the promotion, sales generation, booking and coordination of all of Carousel’s shows touring into schools. In addition, the coordinator is responsible for the promotion and sales of school and public performances at all theatre venues. Other duties include development and strategizing of marketing support materials, maintaining the company’s social media presence and website, database management, invoicing and registration coordination for drama camps, and other outreach activities.

Starting salary $600 per week. This is a full-time contract position (40 hours/week).

Carousel Players invites applications for the part-time position of Playlinks Coordinator that begins as soon as the position is filled.

The Playlinks Coordinator, an independent contract position, works in partnership with Carousel’s Artistic Director, General Manager, Outreach & Marketing Coordinator, Trainer/Evaluation Consultant and all production personnel to support the Playlinks project that includes workshops, arts residencies and performances of Spelling 2-5-5 and Hana Hashimoto, Sixth Violin from January to May 2016. The Playlinks Coordinator is supervised by the General Manager.

Playlinks is a province-wide outreach program in elementary schools to provide arts enrichment activities for children who see a Carousel Players production at their school from February to May 2016. This is a part-time contract position for a total of 500 hours over 27 weeks starting in December, 2015. Hours will vary from week to week with the busiest times being in January, February, April and May 2016. The total contract fee is $7500.
