Toronto Arts Council is delighted to announce the launch of a new pilot program:  Animating Toronto Parks.

The 2016 program will provide funding to professional artists, organizations and collectives to support free arts programming in 23 selected Toronto parks located outside of the downtown core. Applications will be accepted for work in any discipline including dance, literary arts, music, theatre, visual arts and media arts and community-engaged work.

The deadline for grant applications is January 11, 2016.  All applicants must also attend an information session in advance of submitting an application.

Animating Toronto Parks is part of the Arts in the Parks program, managed by Toronto Arts Foundation (TAF) and Toronto Arts Council (TAC) in partnership with City of Toronto Arts & Culture Services, Parks, Forestry and Recreation (PF&R) and community partner Park People.
