OntarioFor actors, singers, storytellers, speakers.

This 12-week workshop will introduce you to the work of Kristin Linklater and her method of “Freeing the Natural Voice". A specific series of physical, tactile and imaginative exercises help you to become more grounded, alive, present and vocally connected to your thoughts and feelings both on and off the stage. You will discover how to release the tensions and blocks that inhibit your vocal expression, how to free your own resonant, vibrant, natural voice and how to re-connect it to your primary impulses, desires and emotions so that you communicate more openly, effortlessly and personally. As you take the work practically into text, you discover deeper levels of emotional meanings and give your voice permission to reveal ‘what’ you are truly thinking and feeling behind the words.
