Re:Current Theatre, home of the monthly Open Artist Share workshops, is proud to partner with accomplished Toronto actor and acting coach Catherine McNally to present a new intensive workshop focused on allowing actors to transition their skills from theatre into film and television.

Location: HangLoose Studios (28 Logan Avenue)
Participants will learn how to audition for the camera, explore scene work, quick preparation skills, cold-reads, and expand on the relationship between performer and camera.

ABOUT CATHERINE McNALLY
Catherine is an international award winning actor who works extensively in theatre and film. She has received the prestigious Christopher Plummer fellowship award, Tyrone Guthrie Award, NOW’s top ten (#3), and a Dora nomination. She has been in co-starring, recurring roles on film and T.V. Most recently 12 Monkeys, Charming Christmas, Reign, Rogue Saving Hope, Lost And Found, Murdoch Mysteries, Flashpoint, The Whistleblower, Love, Sex, and Eating the Bones (TIFF), Webdultery, Doc, Odyssey 5, Killing Me Softly, Roxana, Get a Clue. Catherine is an acting teacher at University of Toronto, Armstrong Acting Studios as well as a private acting coach.
