smART money:
Personal Finance, Cash Flow and Debt Management for Arts Workers

Are you stressed about your personal finances, juggling your bills and watching your debts creep larger and larger? Does your self-employed irregular income make it hard to stay on top of it all?

This two-part workshop and coaching series offers a simple and personalized approach to making a budget and plan to meet short, medium and long term financial goals. Learn more about credit options, debt payment strategies and tips for staying on top of your expenses and taxes. Apply creative approaches to staying within your means to take control over your money and your future.

Each participant will attend two informational and collaborative group sessions, and have 8 hours of personalized coaching over two months to create AND implement an easy-to-use budget, develop a cash flow strategy to meet personal financial goals.

Dates
Group Session Part 1 – Wednesday May 20, 6 pm – 9pm
Group Session Part 2 – Wednesday July 22, 6 pm – 9 pm

Each individual participant will have approximately 8 hours of one-on-one coaching, in four sessions over 8 weeks, between group sessions 1 and 2. There will be short readings and some brief homework assignments. Group Session Part 2 will include opportunities for participants to share their experiences and learnings with each other.
