Unmarked Theatre is proud to present its second event in the new series “Crème De La Femme” - a cabaret inviting new work by artists of every experience level discussing femininity.

Crème de La Femme aims to create a radical, unapologetic, and supportive environment to work through notions of femininity in a contemporary context.

After the amazing talent and turnout from our inaugural Cabaret event, Crème de la Femme is back with a brand new set of artists! This time around our prompt for the cabaret is "Gettin' Old". We received an incredible flow of submissions for this event and are very excited to see everyone's take on our theme on Saturday, December 2nd from 7-10pm at the Paddock Tavern. Performing with us will be (in running order):

"TBD" by Kelly Winger
"Aging Hipster" by Melanie Dahling
"Angus" by Ky Capstick
"Happy Birthday "Ralph"" by Zita Nyarady
"Old(er) Sex" by Elaine Gold
"#GratitudeBlowJob" by Monica Hamburg
A selection from "Battlecry" by Pearle Harbour
and a performance by our headlining artist, Marcia Johnson.

Our Host for the evening will be:
Miranda EJ Warner

Crème de la Femme is open to all performing artists of all experience levels, and all gender identifications, however we ask that artists either be femme-identifying or submit pieces that deal specifically with their relationship to embracing/rejecting/challenging/questioning femme identity. We are especially interested in intersectional work. This is a chance to try something, to wrestle with hard questions, to find community, and to test new modes of healing. In order to assist the development of new work, each edition will feature performances in response to a given prompt.

Tickets are PWYC with a suggested donation of $10.00! All proceeds go to the artists so bring your friends, grab a seat (and a drink) and let's celebrate some great local talent!
