ATTENTION INDIE PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS AND THEATRE ARTISTS OF ALL KINDS!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR JULY 29TH @ 7PM EST!
Trying to answer that daunting question of building your audiences?

Curious about what's involved in making your next indie show more accessible to various communities, but unsure where to start?
Nervous about how to build accessibility into your budget? Feel like you're building that budget on tape and hope to begin with?!

While in isolation, the Spur of the Moment Shakespeare Collective has been taking some time to reflect on accessibility in indie theatre. What does it mean to work with accessibility in a company? A collective? A group of friends? What communities are we providing access for? Join us in our Ask-Me-Anything as we open up our preproduction and learning processes to ask ourselves and our Deaf and Hard Of Hearing Consultant Elizabeth Morris questions alongside our viewers about accessible stage and studio practices for our next show through the indie-theatre lense.

This discussion will be ASL interpreted By Carmelle Cachero and Live Captioned.

This is a FREE event to attend on Facebook Live. Should folks wish to support the conversation happening, donations can be made to our GoFundMe for IBPOC Deaf Group and Deafie's Unique's Time (available this Saturday on our page).

This conversation is brought forward through the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts | Conseil des arts du Canada.
