In an Ever-Changing Economic Landscape, How Do We Attract and Retain an Audience?
For arts organizations, growing the audience is a never-ending challenge. While the context will be different for each of us, all our companies are experiencing the same economic and social trends. What can we learn from each other?
Dancemakers' Board and Staff would like to invite you to join to share perspectives and ideas about growing the audience. Among the questions we’ll consider:
- What are the social and economic trends that are having the biggest impact today for arts organizations like ours?
- What do we need to know about Millennials? Just how different are they? How do we adapt to their changing expectation?
- How do we build enduring relationships with existing audiences to ensure long‐term viability?
- As society adopts to social media and new ways of conducting business, what are the changes we need to make?

About Kitchen Table Conversations at Dancemakers
Our Kitchen Table Conversations are an informal dialogue around a BIG question, in a space where - much like a Kitchen Party - it is easy and safe to disagree, air differences of opinions, quickly confirm or repudiate assumptions and organizational dogma, and generate new and innovative ways to look at or resolve a problem.
