Outside the March is launching a new incarnation of its Artistic Accomplice training program, focusing on technical skills, that will culminate in Accomplices working as technicians as part of The Expansion Pack. The Expansion Pack is a gear lending program designed to support innovative, site-engaged performance in our community; this year, it will be featured in the SummerWorks Performance Festival in August 2026.
The Artistic Accomplice Program is a paid opportunity for early career professionals who want to expand what’s possible for immersive, site-specific performance and audience experience. This apprenticeship will have a technical focus, aimed at those working/training as technicians, technical directors, production managers, designers and creators. This program is supported by The Ontario Trillium Foundation.
As a company with a long history of creating immersive experiences and environments, we are specifically excited to connect with, mentor, and bolster emerging technician-artists from equity-seeking communities who possess a passion for live art.
Applicants should be Toronto-based (or within daily commute of Toronto).
