BCurrent Performing Arts is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator for an 8-week summer contract (Canada Summer Jobs). This hybrid role combines digital marketing strategy with hands-on production content creation.

COMPENSATION: $20/hour, 35 hours/week

STAT DATE: June 22

LOCATION: 1115 Queen St W, Toronto, ON (hybrid/flexible)

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Post-secondary (enrolled or recent graduate)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage a digital content calendar across Instagram and Facebook
  • Design and distribute e-newsletters using email marketing platforms
  • Record video and photography at rehearsals, performances, and events
  • Edit promotional trailers and behind-the-scenes content
  • Monitor social media analytics and report on engagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled in or recent graduate of Marketing, Communications, Media Production, or related field
  • Demonstrated social media management experience
  • Basic video recording and editing skills
  • Strong written communication
  • Assets: Adobe Premiere/Final Cut, Canva, Mailchimp experience; knowledge of Toronto’s arts scene

SKILLS DEVELOPED: Digital skills, creativity and innovation, communication, adaptability, technical skills.
