BCurrent Performing Arts is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator for an 8-week summer contract (Canada Summer Jobs). This hybrid role combines digital marketing strategy with hands-on production content creation.
COMPENSATION: $20/hour, 35 hours/week
STAT DATE: June 22
LOCATION: 1115 Queen St W, Toronto, ON (hybrid/flexible)
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Post-secondary (enrolled or recent graduate)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage a digital content calendar across Instagram and Facebook
- Design and distribute e-newsletters using email marketing platforms
- Record video and photography at rehearsals, performances, and events
- Edit promotional trailers and behind-the-scenes content
- Monitor social media analytics and report on engagement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of Marketing, Communications, Media Production, or related field
- Demonstrated social media management experience
- Basic video recording and editing skills
- Strong written communication
- Assets: Adobe Premiere/Final Cut, Canva, Mailchimp experience; knowledge of Toronto’s arts scene
SKILLS DEVELOPED: Digital skills, creativity and innovation, communication, adaptability, technical skills.
