DESCRIPTION: After a 10-year absence, Nora’s violent and disturbed husband, Tom, returns to their dilapidated family home, with a plan to bring structure, and create a “cooperative consumer republic”. This dark comedy has been described as a “fun house mirror version of Chekhov’s The Three Sisters”. Being first produced in 1986, this play may have been ahead of its time, seeming more relevant today than ever, as it deals with themes of domestic violence, PTSD, substance abuse, conspiracy theories, charismatic self-appointed dictators, and the global imbalance of wealth.

NORA, woman, late 40s/50s
JACK, man, early 50s/60s

MARY ANN, woman, 20s/30s
ELIZABETH, woman, 30s
TOM, man, 50s/60s
