Furthering its mission to work for the betterment of the Canadian live performance community, CITT/ICTS is delighted to announce the launch of CareerHub, a newly rebranded and expanded version of the well-known CITT/ICTS Job Board.
Building on the strong foundation of the original Job Board, the CareerHub aims to promote a wider scope of learning opportunities and encourage professional development within Canada’s live performance and event production industry with the implementation of two new posting categories:
- The new Apprenticeships category is intended for real world hands-on learning opportunities, such as apprenticeships and internships, which are designed to help emerging professionals develop essential career skills. They can be paid or unpaid.
- The new Professional Development category includes learning opportunities such as courses, workshops, and workplace observations, which are designed to help individuals develop their skills at any stage of their career. These can be offered for free or have a course fee, and offered online or in person.
We are pleased to announce that posting to these new categories is free for everyone—members and non-members alike—to promote accessibility and encourage publications from a wide range of theaters, cultural centers, organizations, and companies. With each category having its own dedicated page on the platform, users will be able to conduct targeted and effective searches.
Key features of the previous Job Board are still present in CareerHub. The traditional job posting display, posting process, and submission form remain unchanged, and, as before, CITT/ICTS members can post jobs for free, and non-members can submit job postings for a CA$50 fee.
With the launch of this new platform, CITT/ICTS reaffirms its commitment to supporting career growth at every stage and contributing to employment in the live performance and event production sector.
CareerHub is now live on the CITT/ICTS website! Take advantage of this opportunity today by posting your training, assistantship, or other career growth opportunities!
