Salary: $40,000 – $55,000 (+ benefits) annually, commensurate to experience

1. Position Summary
Reporting to the Artist-Board, the Artistic Producer will work alongside a Community Advisor to put Dancemakers’ Vision and Values into action, as a community-led dance organization focused on research and development in the form and practice of dance. Curatorial decisions will be led by a rotating Artistic Advisory Committee of dance practitioners, and the Artistic Producer will be responsible for organizing and implementing the Committee’s programming choices. Dancemakers is seeking a leader who values community needs and involvement, with a track record and passion for fostering the development of innovative, new performance works.

We welcome applications from individuals with clear artistic vision and direction, as well as those with administrative and/or curatorial experience, and are open to the leadership model and direction of the company reflecting the interests and expertise of the successful candidate.
