NOVA: After the Music is a new full-length contemporary dance production inspired by the firsthand account of a Nova Music Festival survivor. Through movement, music, and spoken word, the production follows a journey through fear, survival, remembrance, and resilience, while honouring the lives and community forever changed by October 7.
We are seeking 8–10 expressive contemporary dancers for this production. Dancers should have strong contemporary or modern technique, excellent musicality, and experience with improvisation and ensemble-based storytelling. Performers must be comfortable approaching sensitive subject matter with maturity, care, and respect.
This is a paid Toronto-based engagement, with rehearsals leading to performances in December 2026. Dancers of all genders and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Please register for this audition directly on our website: https://www.jewishvoicesinmusic.com/nova-afterthemusic
Auditions will take place on August 17th from 11am to 3pm at the National Ballet School of Canada.
