Toronto Arts Foundation Awards are presented to artists, cultural leaders and businesses in recognition of artistic excellence, cultural leadership and contribution to the arts. The deadline to nominate is: December 3rd, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Nominations are currently being accepted for four awards. We particularly want to draw your attention to the Celebration of Cultural Life Award, recognizing the contributions of an individual whose work is a celebration of life through the arts. This prestigious award is presented every two years at the Mayor’s Arts Lunch. The recipient will receive a $10,000 cash prize and two finalists will each receive a $2,000 cash prize.

Additional awards now accepting nominations are:

The Arts For Youth Award, a $20,000 cash prize presented to an individual, collective or organization that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to engaging Toronto’s youth through the arts.

The Breakthrough Artist Awardformerly the Emerging Artist Award, is a $10,000 cash prize celebrating the accomplishments and future potential of an emerging Toronto artist working in any discipline. To read more about the re-naming of this signature award, click here.
