$250 for a Pop-Up Talk at Shadowpath’s Plummet Summit
The Plummet Summit is in Year Two at the Varley Art Gallery in Unionville on Sunday September 6th, 1pm – 4pm.
It’s not a summit – it’s an un-summit. It’s not a presentation – it’s the opposite. We are flipping business models of gathering into formats that make sense for artists.
No panels, no talking heads.
Instead we are seeking 10 – 12 minutes of anything that is an innovative information exchange.
Themes include; mental wellness in the arts, the idea of failure (the plummet) leading to success, your remarkable story of how you navigated the arts scene through nuanced approaches, being a regional artist, or insights into money as a transparent topic in the arts, artist fees, payment models, etc.
We are open to the endless possibilities. Share them by August 15th.
Please email your original idea in 200 words or less, include info about yourself as an artist and any connection to York Region that you may have (if applicable.)
